Canterbury Produce Show
Fete Day, Sunday 22 October
To enter, produce is to be home grown or homemade in your home, it needs to be mainly your work and you need to describe or draw what you did to prepare your exhibit.
Exhibits need to be presented nicely and must be labelled with your name and age.
Entries are invited in the following four categories:
- Produce: Home grown vegetable, citrus or fruit (sample, or single piece)
- Companion plant: Home grown environmental or ornamental plant (sample)
- Baked: Homemade savoury or sweet (five pieces only per plate)
- Bottled: Homemade preserved fruit, vegetable or citrus (one jar)
There are four age groups (based on the age you will be by 31 December 2017):
- Students 6 years and under
- Students 7 and 8 years
- Students 9 and 10 years
- Students 11 and 12 years
Judging will be by a mystery panel including local and loved identities. Winners across the four categories within each age division will be selected and receive an award and prizes.
An entry form and entry fee is payable per exhibit. Forms are available at the School Front Office or by email. The entry fee is $4.00 per exhibit. Students can enter more than one exhibit (one exhibit, $4.00, two exhibits, $7.00, three exhibits $9.00, four exhibits, $10.00).
Entry forms and payment due Wednesday 18 October. Exhibits must be delivered to the Fete by 9.00 am Sunday 22 October for judging. Results announced at the Fete.
